Monthly price: Nomi vs HoneyChat

Nominot published
HoneyChat Premium$9.99
Nomi shows prices after login; Google Play gives a $4.99–$99.99 range. HoneyChat Premium is the first tier with unlimited messages.

Nomi positions itself as a companion for relationships and support: the site carries stories from users aged 61 to 72, a “two-year adventure” and how “an AI friend helps me feel understood”. The key idea is freedom: “the only way for AI to reach its potential is to remain unfiltered”.

The weakness is the closed checkout and the language. Neither the site nor the policies name a price; one testimonial mentions “just over £8 a month” for a yearly plan, but that is a testimonial, not a price list. The interface is English only.

the memory is quite good on this app. and the role play is pretty good as well. BUT…The yearly plan is too expensive for some of us to pay … And monthly is still kind of pricey too!
DivaAngel182 · · App Store

The conversations feel natural, supportive, and emotionally real. … The main thing holding this back from being a five star app is the photo generator.

I’ve tried several AI Companion apps. None of them begin to measure up to Nomi. Most won’t let you do anything without paying.

Memory and freedom get the praise, price and inconsistent photos get the complaints. HoneyChat starts at $4.99 a month and gives 20 free messages a day.
